Sustainable Luxury Pantry Collection aims to minimise societys food and plastic waste

London - Forrist, the UK’s first plastic-free online supermarket, has launched its new Sustainable Luxury Pantry Collection which it will sell exclusively from Harrods’ prestigious Food Hall in London.

The new collection, which has been meticulously developed over the last 12 months, will allow people to stock their pantries with the finest dried ingredients whilst swapping out single-use plastic packaging for stylish and reusable glass jars which can be continuously refilled.

The new collection at Harrods consists of 37 individual organic ingredients such as maple syrup, wild rice, orzo, steel cut oats, red lentils, couscous along with a variety of herbs and spices.

Founded in 2017, the independent company prides itself on providing customers with the highest quality organic and plant-based products, whilst upholding its strong belief in a zero waste and zero plastic policy.

It’s hoped that Forrist’s latest partnership with Harrods will allow it to reach a much wider audience with its ethical and environmentally sound approach while providing customers with the very finest quality pantry staples.

Simone Brown, Founder of Forrist, said:

Our new collection brings together the very essence of what Forrist is all about. Not only does it provide customers with a carefully curated range of the very best ingredients, but it also does it in a way that minimises the impact on our environment. Were proving that everyone can buy high-quality food products, without compromising when it comes to issues of sustainability and plastic waste.

As a fiercely independent business, we see our exclusive partnership with Harrods as a real opportunity to take our unique approach to a much wider audience. By offering products like those continued within our new sustainable collection, we hope we can influence more people in making better, more informed choices when it comes to the everyday food essentials they store in their pantries and cupboards. We firmly believe that in making those very small, every-day switches to more sustainable products, that communities will be able to assert a more positive impact on their environments and lives.
