Forrist, a UK-based plastic-free online supermarket that specialises in organic and plant-based products, is launching the UK’s first ever pantry subscription box nationally.
Following the growth in the market for fresh fruit and vegetable subscription boxes, plastic-free online supermarket Forrist has introduced the UK’s very first subscription box for all things pantry as the perfect companion. Customers are able to choose from a myriad of box options to suit their needs, the selection of boxes ranging from a complete pantry haul to just selecting specific organic coffee beans, loose teas, artisanal pastas and healthy snacks are delivered every four or six weeks. All of the boxes contain ever-changing products to try. For those who aren’t keen on surprises, customers are able to fully customise what they receive in their box to make sure nothing goes to waste. February’s Organic Pantry Essentials and Living Box comes with a selection of twenty-two organic, plastic-free pantry staples, bamboo toilet roll, shampoo and soap bars, cleaning and laundry essentials. Additionally, boxes can be altered in size by the number of people in the household to make sure customers receive the perfect amount of produce and products.
Forrist is a company born from the desire to make ethical shopping as easy and attainable as possible without having to visit several different stores. Everything is delivered straight to their customer’s door. Their diverse range of organic and plant-based pantry essentials makes it easy to shop and have zero waste. All produce is purchased by weight so customers are left with no food waste and don’t spend more than they need to. Everything Forrist sells is free of plastic packaging and household items are sold in reusable containers that can be returned to refill over and over again. Forrist has collaborated with other like-minded brands to make sure they provide only the finest quality produce and sleek, stylish, and sustainable household items that will last a lifetime.
Beyond Forrist’s online shop, they have created a digital space to educate consumers about sustainability and inspire them to make more ethical shopping choices. They have a blog space that includes recipes, thought-provoking pieces, sustainability guides, informative posts and interviews to help collectively make an effort towards a better tomorrow.
A representative for Forrist recently addressed their decision to introduce subscription boxes. “A lot of people new to bulk buying or buying by weight can find it all overwhelming so we thought this was a great, convenient way for them to shop sustainably without the confusion. Customers can restock their cupboards every four or six weeks with our regular pantry deliveries.”
