How does the refill and return process work for customers?

Customers can refill their jars at home or in-store with our products. Once the boxes are empty, they can either return them to the store or compost them at home. This process supports a circular economy by promoting refill, return, and regeneration.

What are the benefits of stocking this collection for my store?

Stocking the Kraft Refill Collection attracts eco-conscious consumers, enhances your store’s sustainability credentials, and supports waste reduction. It positions your store as a leader in sustainable retail practices.

What makes the packaging compostable, and how should it be composted?

Our packaging is made from naturally compostable kraft paper, which is essential for creating healthy compost. Paper products help balance moisture and aeration in compost, supporting effective decomposition. Customers can place the empty boxes in their home compost bin, take them to a local composting facility, return them to the store’s compost collection area if there is one or even return them to us. Instructions for composting are provided on the packaging.

How can stores manage the returned boxes for composting?

The in-store return scheme allows customers to return empty compostable boxes to participating stores. These boxes are then collected and sent to our waste management partners, who specialise in compostable materials. We ensure that these materials are properly processed into nutrient-rich compost, which can be used to enrich soil and support healthy plant growth. This approach helps close the loop on our packaging, making sustainability convenient, effective and rewarding for consumers and retailers.
