How Its Grown/Processed
The almond tree is a species of fruit tree native to countries in the Middle East but are now also grown in Spain, California and Italy, with California having the highest production of almonds worldwide. The fruit from the tree is harvested and left to dry for about a week to lower moisture content and then they are taken to be sorted where the shell and hull is removed.
