How To Use
Organic Raw Cacao Nibs are small pieces of crushed cacao, or cocoa, beans. Packed with an impressive amount of nutrients, these bitter chocolate-flavoured nibs are perfect for throwing into a smoothie, oatmeal, coffee or baked goodies.
How Its Grown/Processed
Once cacao beans have been harvested and dried they’re then fermented and cracked, resulting in raw cacao nibs. If they were to be roasted after this process then they’d be called cacao nibs. Cacao beans are harvested from the cacao tree which are native to southeastern South America, in countries such as Ecuador, Peru and Brazil. But they are now widely cultivated in West Africa with Africa producing 70% of the world’s cacao.
