The origin of the coconut tree is not completely known but majority of claims say it originated in the Indomalayan region and this area covers most of South and Southeast Asia. The fresh white meat from the coconut is removed and peeled into flakes and these are then dried out usually using a dehydrator or an oven until the flakes become crispy.
Packed in an environment that also handles nuts, mustard, celery, soya, gluten, sesame, sulphites and milk
