Organic Dried Goji Berries
How Its Grown/Processed
The goji berry is native to Asia, particularly the Northwest regions of China and these berries have been used as a medicinal herb for more than 2,000 years. These brightly coloured berries can be found on two closely related plants called Lycium chinense and Lycium barbarum. Once harvested they are often dried using a dehydrator and monitored carefully to ensure they do not dry too fast nor too slow and this is often done in stages to reach optimum shape, colour and water content.
