How Its Grown/Processed
Oats come from a cereal plant called Avena sativa and the seed/kernel of this plant is then milled, teamed, heated and cooled in a kiln which makes the oats. Oats prefer a temperate climate as they don’t require a lot of heat and have a high tolerance to the rain making them the perfect crop to grow in Northwest Europe. The husk is removed from the oats and then the remaining seed is dried in a kiln and then rolled to get that flat shape.
