Organic hulled buckwheat is an excellent source of protein and contains no wheat at all. It can be enjoyed as a replacement for grains such as rice and couscous, as well as being a delicious porridge alternative.

How To Cook

  1. In a medium sauce pan, combine 1 cup of buckwheat with 1 3/4 cups water, 1 Tbsp butter and 1/2 tsp salt. 

  2. Bring to a simmer then cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer on low for 18-20 minutes. 

  3. Leave to stand for a few minutes with the heat turned off. 

  4. Drain and serve.
